All whales and dolphins are in the family cetaceans. They are all mammals and breath air.
There are two types of whales--the baleen whales and toothed whales. In the baleen group are found Gray Whales, Humpback Whales and Right Whales. The toothed whales include Dolphins, Killer Wales or Orcas and Beluga Whales.

When whales and dolphins are in distress, many will beach themselves. A whole pod of dolphins will follow one distressed dolphin. In some cases, they can be saved, if found in time. We watch as one group is successfully rescued.
We investigate why many of the whales and dolphins are endangered and what can be done to help them.
