"Exploring India" takes a look at the history of India starting in Delhi. There, we tour the crowded streets visiting Mahatma Gandhi's tomb, the Mehrauli Archeological Park and the largest mosque, Jama Masjid.
From Delhi, we travel to Jaipur, to see the Hawa Mahal, the majestic fort Palace of Amber and the city museum.
We explore Ranthambhore Tiger Sanctuary, a bird watcher's Paradise, with many types of birds, animals and the protected tiger.
Outside Agra, there is a visit to Fatehpur Sikri, a 16th century city, that is now deserted. We learn abut its history.
In Agra, at sunrise, we see one of the wonders of the word and the highlight of the trip, the Taj Mahal. There is also a visit to Agra Fort.
In Khajuraho, there is a temple complex built between the 9th and 10th centuries to explore.
A performance of folk dancing from around the country is enjoyed. There are demonstrations of different crafts such as silk weaving, wool and silk rug making, jewelry stone cutting, cloth printing and precious stone inlay work.
